Showcasing a stylish yet understated aesthetic, the 214ce Plus Special Edition, Trans Grey combines visual sophistication with musical versatility and silky-smooth playability. A solid Engelmann spruce top is paired with layered sapele back and sides in Taylor's comfortable cutaway Grand Auditorium body, finished with a rich gloss sheen. Sonically, this special-edition model yields a balanced tonal profile with bold, clear projection, making it ideal for a wide range of playing styles. Inside, cantilevered C-Class bracing delivers impressive volume, enhanced sustained and greater harmonic agreement between notes. The top boasts a dark, transparent grey finish while a black finish wraps the back, sides and slim, easy-playing Taylor neck, which features an accommodating 1 11/16” nut width. Satin black tuners and a black pickguard create an appealing visual contrast with an Italian acrylic rosette, white peghead logo and white body binding. Small Diamond fretboard inlays add touches of contemporary elegance.
