Switching System

When the pickup selector switch is in the neck position, the neck pickup is selected. When the switch is in the center position, both neck and bridge pickups are selected. When the switch is in the bridge position, the bridge pickup is selected. If you have the neck Tri-sound switch in neck position, the neck humbucker is in parallel. If you have the switch in center position, the neck side of the neck humbucker is on. If you have the switch is in bridge position, the neck pickup is in series. If you have the bridge Tri-sound switch in neck position, the bridge humbucker is in parallel. If the switch is in center position, the bridge side of the bridge humbucker is on. If the switch is in bridge position, the bridge pickup is in series.

With the guitar held in the playing position, there are two knobs along the lower edge of the body. The knob close to the end of the body is the bridge tone control, and the knob closer to the direction of the neck is bridge volume. Above these, there are two more knobs closer to the bridge. The knob closest to the end of the body is the neck tone control, and the knob closest to the neck is the neck volume knob. There are also two switches next to the volume knobs. The switch closest to the neck volume knob is the tri-sound switch for the neck pickup, and the switch farthest away from the neck volume knob is the tri-sound switch for the bridge pickup. The pickup selector switch is located above the neck pickup.
