Its back and sides, crafted from layered AA-grade figured Hawaiian koa, boast dramatic organic figuring, making this limited-edition guitar one of the most visually striking Academy models Taylor has ever produced. Its torrefied spruce top, treated with Taylor's proprietary roasting process, offers a warm, played-in sound right out of the box along with plenty of headroom for strummers and flatpickers.
