Fender Designed Noiseless Pickups: Designed in-house at Fender, the dual coil design of these alnico pickups eliminates unwanted noise from the signal while retaining tonal richness, detail and punch.

9V Active Preamp: Powered by a 9-volt battery, this preamp includes controls for volume, pickup blend, tone, and treble/bass boost.

Active/Passive Switch: With a tone knob that functions in both active and passive settings, the electronics include a switch on the control plate to engage the preamp for added bass and treble boost control.

Bound Fingerboard: The bound fingerboard not only adds vintage charm to this instrument, but also improves visibility of the side markers in dark playing environments.

HiMass Bridge: This top-load bridge features a plate with more mass that adds resonance and sustain while the 5 beefed up saddles seat nicely inside saddle slots for rock solid intonation and stability.
