Steelhead HB pickups offer the classic warmth of vintage humbuckers along with clear, sharp attack. Features
Custom Pickups: Reverend designs their own proprietary custom pickups, to achieve the best tonal match with their instruments. Reverend pickups are also specifically designed for each position, for balanced volume and tone when switching.
Roasted Maple Neck: Roasted Maple is heat treated at over 300° F to remove sugars, moisture, and impurities. This maple is lighter, more stable, and has a beautiful caramel color. The result is an exceptional maple neck that will require less seasonal adjustment, and boasts a rich vintage look!
Mahogany Body: Mahogany is a medium weight wood, prized for it's beauty, stability, and tonal qualities. All Reverend semi-hollow guitars use a Mahogany back and center block, where it's midrange forward tone perfectly complements the semi-hollow construction.
Bass Contour: This passive bass roll-off is great for tightening up the low end, or re-voicing the pickups. It can make a humbucker sound like a single-coil, or give a P-90 that classic twang. Variable pickup voicing at your fingertips!
