The V1 Pencil Condenser Kit is well-suited for close-to-medium-range mic'ing of acoustic guitar, percussion, piano, and other stringed instruments. The V4 Gen2 FET Condenser is a great all-around microphone for a variety of applications, including acoustic guitar, drum overheads, and vocals. The V13 Gen2 Tube Condenser is primarily designed for vocals, but can also be used for a variety of applications including guitar amp mic'ing. The vacuum tube inside the V13 gives it warmth and saturation. Each Vanguard Audio Labs microphone comes with a custom-designed carrying case and shockmount.
