Meet the new Taylor 700 series.

Meet the new Taylor 700 series.

Meet Hawaiian koa, redefined. Taylor's 700 Series just got a bold refresh, offering up two new models crafted with back, sides and top of solid, beautifully grained koa with a vibrant voice that lives up to its striking looks.

Taylor's forest restoration efforts in Hawaii have helped them secure new varieties of koa that inspired master builder Andy Powers to design a new koa series with a new look, feel, and sound. The ultra-thin, open-pore finish looks and feels like unfinished wood, giving these new 700 series guitars a more warm, tactile feel when compared to the refined polish of the gloss-finish Koa Series. New internal back bracing help capture the signature midrange sweetness of koa, but with a livelier attack and more direct response.

Tasteful, organic appointments include new Fountain inlays in mother-of-pearl, rosewood binding, paua rosette accented with rosewood & maple, rosewood/maple top edge trim, stained maple pickguard, and polished bronze tuners.
