Features

A.I.R.port: Through intensive research and development, Ibanez has designed the A.I.R.port with a unique internal structure that reflects sound waves and guides them to exit from a precisely positioned sound hole. As a result, players can monitor what they are playing more clearly, which enhances the overall playing experience.

Thermo Aged Ovangkol Fretboard: Thermo Aged, a special drying process, makes the Ovangkol fretboard light and harder and provides increased stability.

Solid Sitka Spruce Top: Solid Sitka Spruce top provides an enormous frequency range that offers wave after wave of shimmering highs along with tight mids and a full-bodied low end.

Ovangkol Back & Sides: Ovangkol back and sides offers well-balanced tones with a full-bodied mid range and a sparkling treble.

Themo Aged Ovangkol Scalloped Bridge: The lightweight, scalloped bridge enhances vibration transfer for improved resonance and offers greater flexibility when adjusting the action compared to a traditional bridge. Thermo Aged, a specialized drying process, makes the bridge even lighter and harder for increased stability.

Ibanez AEQ-TP2 Preamp w/Onboard Tuner: The Ibanez AEQ-TP2 preamp provides the extra punch of on-board EQ along with a convenient and easy-to-read digital tuner and 2-band EQ, located on the instrument’s upper bout.

Comfort Grip Nyatoh Neck: The Comfort Grip Nyatoh Neck contour provides superior playability.

Ibanez Advantage Bridge Pins: These pins really are an advantage over old-fashioned pins. Advantage pins are easier to take out and easier to put in than standard pins. A special bulb-shaped end makes the pin easy to grip and also prevents the pin from being pushed in too far. Best of all, with Advantage the pin and string stay put.
